How do I order custom cookies?

Accepted Answer

Simply fill out the order form below with as much detail as possible about the colours, designs, or themes that you would like for your cookies. We'll reply immediately via email to confirm receipt of your order request. You can reply to that email with any reference or inspiration images if applicable. We'll be in touch shortly if we have any questions or ideas to add and provide you with a quote.   Your order will not be confirmed until you have accepted the quote and paid for the order in full.

Is there a minimum order amount?

Yes. As it is extremely time consuming to make and mix custom colours for every order as well as design each individual cookie, we require a 1 Dozen minimum order (12 cookies).

Question 3

How much do the cookies cost and how do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Custom cookies start at $6 each. The price may go up from there depending on the number of colours requested or the level of intricacy in the designs as well as the addition of things like airbrushing, custom fonts or logos, edible gold etc...   Please fill out the order form with as much information as possible so that we can provide you with an accurate quote.   Once you approve the quote, you can pay by debit or credit. We also accept (and prefer) e-transfers sent to hello@sugarmamacookiecompany.com

How much notice do I need to give for ordering cookies?

Accepted Answer

Custom cookies usually require a minimum of 2 weeks notice. If you would like to make an order request under the 2-week window, please feel free to fill out the order form and we can see if we can squeeze you in! We always try our best to make cookies for whomever wants them! A rush service fee may be applied.   The only way to confirm an order is for it to be paid in full. If we have sent you a quote, it is your responsibility to have the order paid as soon as possible, otherwise this may result in you forfeiting your date should another customer pay in full before you.

How long do the cookies stay fresh?

Our sugar cookies will stay fresh for 1 week if left in their individually heat-sealed bags.

Our sugars cookies also freeze very well. They can be placed in a freezer bag or airtight container and frozen for up 6 months. Allow for cookies to come to room temperature still in the freezer bag or airtight container before taking them out of their packages to prevent condensation on the icing design.

What flavor are your cookies?

Sugar Mama's signature sugar cookie is unlike any sugar cookie you have ever had before! Unlike most standard vanilla sugar cookies, ours have subtle notes of cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and clove. Our cookies are soft and buttery and not overly sweet.

Do you make nut-free, gluten free, or vegan cookies?"

We do offer vegan and gluten-friendly cookies. These start at $7.50 per cookie. *PLEASE NOTE: Our gluten-friendly and vegan cookies are made in the same kitchen as our standard cookies, so they may contain traces of wheat-flour, milk, butter, or eggs. Our gluten-friendly cookies are intended for those with gluten sensitivities, but are NOT recommended for those with celiac disease.   We are not a nut-free facility and can not offer nut-free at this time.

Can you deliver or ship your cookies?

Currently we only offer delivery for our bakery cookies. All custom orders are for pick-up only. We are opening up our storefront cookie shop and cafe Early 2022. When we do, we will be able to offer delivery.   Standard shipping rates apply. We currently only ship within Canada.

Please note that designing and decorating custom cookies is an artisitic endeavor and no two cookies will ever be exactly the same.  When you order cookies from us, unless specifically agreed to, you are giving Sugar Mama decorators artistic liberty to design and decorate.We pride ourselves in making beautiful cookies that match the customers vision to the best of our ability.   These are not factory cookies. We make and decorate each and every cookie by hand.  Due to all of the above, there are no refunds on custom orders.
